19th Century Hand Painted Tin
"One Horse Open Sleigh"

This is a charming example of 19th century American pressed tin toys. Many of these toys originated from the Connecticut toy makers industry.  The maker is unknown to us, but most likely is a Fallows or Geo. Brown.  It is beautifully molded and painted with a bell ringer attached to undercarriage. All original parts with more than 75% original paint  late 19th century.   5 x 3.75 x 12
